Small Groups
A wonderful gathering time for sharing, prayer, Bible study and friendship. Currently, there are several groups open to accepting new members. These groups are open to both men and women, married and single adults. The Mooers will be hosting a book study entitled The Forgotten God. The Minnies will also being hosting a book study called Erasing Hell. While the Affolter are hosting a group that will have topic discussions each night.
There is also a new Marriage Group studying Spiritual Principles For Building Stronger Relationships hosted by Jeff and Brooke Mooers.If you are interested in joining any of these groups, or if you would like to start a group or have an idea for a new group but need help starting it, please connect with Jeff Mooers at smallgroups@livingwaterslakeville.com
Social Gathering
We have several church community potluck meals throughout the year including a Thanksgiving pie social, spring brunch buffet and summer picnic. Ladies enjoy evening meals and movie nights occationally throughout the year. Men gather at Perkins in Lakeville at 6:00am on Fridays each week for fellowship. These groups are a great way to meet new people as well to share time with old friends.
Bible Study
We have a variety of Bible studies that meet throughout the week. There are groups meeting just for men, women and mixed groups available as well to join. The Word of God is the focus and our better understanding of who God is. There is a new adult Bible class beginning October 9th. Getting to the Heart of God's Story will be meeting at 9:30am on Sunday morning before church service. This group is open to all adults who out like dive deeper into Scripture. Come each week or as offen as your schedule allows.
There are two Men's Bible Study Groups meeting this Fall. Pastor Scott will be leading The Story Bible study for men. This deeper look into the themes of the Bible will coincide with our Sunday morning sermon series and touch on issues relevant to men. Leading and Loving Beginning in October this 6 week men’s study explores the role and responsibilities of a husband. A new Women's Study is beginning soon. Meeting Wednesday mornings at Berean 9:30am - 11:30am. Fall study has ended; winter study information coming soon.
