Pastor Scott Peterson

Scott grew up in Bloomington, Minnesota attending the local Catholic Church with his family. He began his journey into ministry as a volunteer leader for the local Young Life Clubs. While attending Bethel College, Scott served as the Youth Coordinator at Bloomington Baptist church. It was also at Bethel that Scott met his best friend and wife Julie; they have been blessed with over 25 years of marriage and three incredible children: Kylie, DJ and Austin. After graduating with a Masters of Divinity degree from Bethel Seminary, Scott began to serve as the Associate Pastor of Student Ministries at Berean Baptist church in Burnsville; he served in that role for 14 years, which included 3 years of overseeing the local & global missions ministry.

For three years Scott taught Youth Ministry & Bible classes full time at Bethel College as an Assistant Professor of Biblical Studies; he has continued to teach as an adjunct professor for Bethel University and Youth Leadership at Bethel Seminary for various ministry related classes. Scott has served as the Lead Pastor of livingWATERS church since March of 2002.

Worship Director Rachel Wood

Rachel has lived in Minnesota for 25 years. She grew up attending Baptist General Conference churches with her family. At the age of 6, she started singing with her family and has been singing and playing piano ever since. Music and the Lord are her passions. Rachel graduated from Taylor University where she met her husband Steve. They were married after college and now have 3 busy boys: Zach, Will and Mason. They are also in the process of adopting a little girl into their family. Rachel and Steve started attending LivingWaters Church on its first Sunday in 2002 and have loved it ever since! It is truly like a second family for them. Rachel has served on the worship team for 9 years and has been worship director since May of 2008.

Office Administrator Tamara Schindler

Tamara was born and raised in Nebraska. After high school she attended University of Sioux Falls where she meet and married her husband Andy. After living there for 11 years they and their 3 children moved to Minnesota. They have been attending livingWATERS church since it's inception in 2001. Tamara began volunteering in the office in 2005. And was added to the Staff as the office administrator in 2008.
